My class consists of 15-20 amazing students in an engaging and diverse community. I am a special education teacher teaching students with learning difficulties, attention deficit disorder as well as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I am currently a co-teacher, so this project would benefit regular education students as well. My students are learning to grasp a growth mindset as well as acquiring lifelong skills. At this time, they are engaging in school in person as well as virtually. We are in education at a unique time when the world is changing as well as in chaos.
My Project
The materials I am purchasing will be used in the classroom geared toward special education students. I am trying to get stress and anxiety relief packs to assist students with anxiety or fidgeting in the classroom. The reading strips and the transparent overlays will help students with dyslexia or reading difficulties.
