Start the Year Off Right with Bracelets Against Bullying!
My students need lace, string and beads to create bracelets that will help encourage positive behavior towards themselves and others. We also need two copies of "Bullying in Schools."
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Be the one to create a positive change in our school by funding the pledge bracelets not to be a bully. My students need positive behavior charts for each day. As a reward for great behavior and not bullying in the school students will be able to create a bracelet that will be a reminder not to bully.
The majority of our students come from low income families, single family homes, foster homes, and group homes.
They learn best with hands on materials and experiences which is difficult because materials cost money. Our school relays on finding funds from wonderful people to help use purchase the supplies needed in our classrooms.
My Project
Students at my school really enjoy making bracelets but they have a heard time not bullying each other. As a reward for a good week, students will be invited to the art room to work together to create friendship bracelets.
Students will be able to work together on to create a bracelet, share their ideas on how they created their bracelets and be reminded of the goal to use their words not their fists to talk about their problems. By providing my students with lace and beads to create bracelets you will help encourage positive behavior towards themselves and others. We also need two copies of "Bullying in Schools."
With your help we can show students that bullying is not a good option.
Without your help we will not be able to get the materials we need to spread the work around the school. Your donation will make a big difference in our students learning.
