Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching first grade is such a rewarding experience because these students arrive each morning with a pure, infectious curiosity and a genuine love for discovery. To harness that wonderful energy, it is essential to provide them with a structured environment where they can truly thrive.

The resources I’ve selected are more than just classroom supplies; they are intentional tools designed to help young learners develop the organizational habits they need for a lifetime of academic success.

By providing consistent opportunities for hands-on practice, these materials allow students to reinforce foundational literacy and math skills in a way that feels engaging rather than repetitive.

Ultimately, my goal is to remove any barriers to learning. Having access to these high-quality materials ensures that every child in my classroom—regardless of their starting point—has exactly what they need to feel confident, prepared, and empowered to reach their full potential this year.
