My Students
My students are rising 2nd graders who are extremely motivated, in an unjust world they push you to bring justice. They are listeners, thinkers, advocates, mathematicians and LEADERS. They are truly, warriors!
They attend a Tidal 1 school with many disadvantages, but when you walk through the doors of their classroom, you would never be aware of the disparities they face.
They are the light that the future needs. They love reading, writing poetry, storytelling, science labs, and math projects.
My Project
This project includes materials that my students need to be successful this school year, such as pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, tissue, hand soap, crayons, and so forth. Oh yes and a snack!
I added two bean bags because I believe children deserve a little more than the basic necessities.
Our goal this year is to have students and teachers who are making achieving record-breaking success! It is all about STAR power, building STARS, celebrating STARS, and being STARS! Thank you for taking the initiative in being an aid and support system to a group of future innovators, thinkers, and dreamers.
