My Students

My students represent an amazing wealth of cultures, languages, and history. Their families are amazingly supportive and are very involved in their children's education. My classroom is comprised of mostly second language learners.

My students work so hard and are super excited to learn.

We are a Title One school in a community where parents opt to come to our school because they want the best for their children.

Our school is like a home away from home, as it is a K-12 charter school, and you can often see siblings and family members all around, which gives everyone a sense of an extended family. I love it!

My Project

Everyone loves Starbucks! With these gift cards, we will be able to learn about the cost of snacks at a local restaurant and enjoy this as a special treat! Using gift cards or even hot chocolate as a reward is a great way to increase behaviors through PBIS and rewards for special projects or tasks at the school. Learning about each other and helping others is a valuable lifelong skill that we want to show. PBIS helps encourage these great behaviors.
