Our classroom is a dual language Chinese Immersion class. The students learn math in Chinese and Language Arts in English.
My students are fun loving, young kindergarteners who are eager and energetic to learn.
Our school is a Title One school and also accommodates many of our military children from the local bases.
Our class is made up of twenty-eight students, many of which this is their first school experience. My hope is to prepare them to be lifelong learners who enjoy learning and school.
My Project
We are requesting a variety of seating options for students to work and read in throughout the classroom. The couch and rockers will allow students to choose where they'd like to work. The flex seats and the bean bags chairs give students options to alternative seating. Clipboards and writing stations will allow students to complete work anywhere they are. These tools will benefit students everyday. By being able to gift them with items to make their work easier and more special they will continue to work hard.
Flexible seating will allow students to work and move around the classroom without tables and concrete furniture.
I've requested seating options such as bean bag chairs, wobble seats, small tables, and lap learners.
With your help, I will be able to make my classroom fun, flexible, and conducive to all types of learning using the different seating options.
