My Students

All of my students are excited to learn about music. Not only do we rehearse throughout class, but we also learn about music history and theory.

My middle school students are great.

We are a new school and growing quickly. This is the first year we were able to offer band and the students hopped right on board. We have grown so much these last few months in band. I am looking forward to the continuous growth for the remainder of this year and the years to come.

My Project

We are in great need of these music stands. They will be used every day in class to posture our music in a way that is easy to see and promotes good posture. Currently, we are using the backs of classroom chairs. This forces students to look downward towards the music which inhibits good posture and makes it difficult to see the conductor.

I think we will be able to accomplish much more in band class with these music stands.

We will be able to learn new music quicker. Also, these stands will be great to use for our end of the year concert.
