My school is a Title I school with a beautiful group of diverse students. I serve so many amazing students that come from so many different backgrounds. This year our school will not be able to supply teachers with a school supply allowance. Due to the limited resources of our families at the school, many students come to school without supplies. I currently teach fifth grade math to over 90 students. Our fifth grade classes are departmentalized, and I currently teach math. This year I want to incorporate some flexible seating to help with attention and congestion in my classroom. Your contribution to my classroom, no matter how small, will be a tremendous blessing. My Project
So many of my sweet babies have a hard time seating during the lesson. Theses tables will allow those children to stand up and still be able to take notes and learn in a way that’s beneficial to them. I want every child to have these best opportunity to learn. Less fidgeting will allow students to focus on the lesson. The tables will help improve behavior and attention issues within my classroom. In each block, I have 31 students, so behavior is evident. It is my hope that these tables will allow me to spread students out and help with congestion.
