My Students

My students come from all walks of life. As you might remember, entering 6th grade can be difficult. It takes a little time for students to adjust to the middle school routine. One of the major changes are sitting down in desks and taking notes. I’d love to have some standing desks in my classroom for those students who, like me, need to move around just a bit. Some bouncy bands on the legs of the desk would be great too-lots of students have excess energy and I’d love to help them find constructive ways to expend it.

My Project

These SafeCo AlphaBetter standing desks and Bouncy Bands will help my students that need to exert excess energy, but need to stay focused on the lesson. Please help me help them by donating to this cause today.

Students that have excess energy often need to move around, stand up, or fidget but usually end up distracting other students.

These desks and bands will help students move about while staying focused and not distracting others.

The longer class periods for middle schoolers can be a challenge. I believe these desks and bands will help students stay focused, lessen distractions to others, and, as an added benefit, they will even burn some calories standing up!
