Standing for Students to Stay More Focused

Help me give my students the ability to move around when they can't stay still. Most of my students love to stand up during the day, so having a mobile Standing Desk will allow them to stay focused.

My Students

My students love to be engaged, and they are excited to learn. However, 80% of my students come from low-income families. Their home lives are harder than we can ever imagine. Our school is in the southwest part of South Dakota, in between two different reservations. Throughout the year, we have students who come and go, because they get moved around between their family members.

Coming to school allows them to expand their minds and enjoy being a kid without having as many responsibilities.

School is their safe place, and I would love to enhance their learning with different opportunities that grasp their attention.

My Project

I have a lot of students that cannot just sit and work. Being able to move around, or even just stand, helps them to stay focused and allows them to work comfortably. Giving them the freedom to choose whether to stand or to sit will make them feel like they are the ones incontrol of their own learning.

By donating to our project, you will not only help increase my students' attention and focus, but you will also help improve their academic achievement.

Being able to have a desk and a table that can be adjusted to either sit at or stand at will really allow my students to work at their best.
