My Students

I have an amazing group of students who are eager to come to school and learn! My students come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and learning abilities. They include English Language Learners and intellectually gifted students.

These students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom, but they never let this affect their ability or enthusiasm to learn!

Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

My students love the opportunity to take charge and teach their classmates! Some of their best work comes from learning from each other and sharing ideas. Having a stand-up desk and comfortable chair will allow students to have the opportunity to lead their class in discussions.

Every day we use a document camera and Promethean board to enhance student knowledge.

In order for my students to be able to use this equipment, we need more room. The cart we have now is small and does not give room for students to share their work and ideas.

I love to see my students excited about learning, and having them able to lead in this capacity make this happen! It's exciting to see their faces light up when they get to share their work with the class.
