Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, inquisitive, and fun kids. They are always looking for new ways to do activities and new ways to engage with their environment. They come into school each day with smiles, ready to learn and to tackle new challenges.

Many of my students come from low-income households and English is their Second Language.

They face challenges as English Language Learners, but they meet those challenges head-on. My students love to learn and cannot wait to try new things.

My Project

To help complete my flexible seating classroom, we need a couple more Wobble Chairs and standing desks. I currently have two Wobble Chairs, and they have been a big hit! The students are able to move and wiggle while still being productive. Also, my current standing tables will not go high enough to stand! My students need the standing option as well.

Being able to make productive choices in the classroom helps my students learn about how they are and develop into well-rounded learners!

The flexible seating classroom has given them those options. This project will help them continue to make great choices.
