My students need a place to stand up to learn. These stand up desks will provide a space for students to collaborate or an opportunity for individual students to stay engaged while getting to move.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic, creative, and enjoy working in collaborative groups. They all have bright ideas and openly share their thoughts with the class. Movement in our classroom has benefited many of the learning styles of my students. They enjoy felxibility and taking ownership of their own learning. My fourth graders crave the opportunity to move in the classroom to find their best place for learning. My students feel at home in the classroom, we strive to be a community of learners.

My Project

Stand up desks give children another space for learning. My fourth grade students enjoy learning through collaboration and movement. Stand up desks will provide a space for students to work in groups or for individual students to stand while working. My fourth grade students will be all be able to access these desks throughout the day to stay engaged in classroom learning. Some students prefer to stand when learning, these standing desks will benefit many learning styles in my classroom. My vision for these stand up desks is to provide flexibility in our classroom learning environment. Let's stand up for learning!
