This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My wonderful students come from all walks of life and because of this, each one adds so much to our classroom environment. They are very accepting and kind to others. Even though many of my students have a difficult time bringing the basic supplies to school, they come to school ready and eager to learn.
My students enter the doors of our colorful school knowing that the staff is prepared to help them reach their potential of being college and career ready.
My Project
Who wants to sit all day at a desk? Not my students.
I would like to add another type of desktop that will allow students to stand up or sit down to complete their assignments on their computer.
I have a few students that have some special needs that call for them to not sit for long periods of time. We currently have a few different types of desktops that some of my students use. I would like to add another type of desktop that will allow another one of my students to stand or sit and work as needed.
The plastic caddies will be perfect to keep items such as pencils, scissors, glue sticks, and other small school supplies in. These caddies will keep my students' materials organized. They are also easy to carry to another place in the classroom as needed.
