Help me give my students an electric mandolin (to plug in and be heard) and a strap to be able to play it standing up.

My Students
My classroom is performance oriented with a stage, a full set of risers, and more instruments than you would expect in the average elementary classroom. We make music with our own hands and breath, and we do it well. I'm in my sixth year at this school, and in the time I've been here, my students have become multi-instrumentalists on the bass, mandolin, piano, and drums.
Some students like to switch around between the instruments, while others have "specialized" and concentrate all their learning on just one.
Either way is fine by me, as long as they're learning and enjoying music and school.
My Project
My older students LOVE setting an example for our younger ones. Every opportunity they get to put on a show for the little ones they jump at the chance. And since our youngest classes have lots of performances throughout the year for special programs for parents, our little ones often need musical accompaniment, but they are too young and inexperienced to play it themselves.
The mandolin requested in this project is electric, so when the fifth graders play for events like the "Q and U Wedding" or the "Thanksgiving Feast" for our youngest classes, they can be heard by all the students who can then sing along.
I would MUCH prefer to have my fifth graders play at all these events rather than me doing it. That's what I'm all about: kids doing things for themselves without adult help. The ability to play together with others and lead is an essential skill as they get older even if they don't choose to pursue music. We have several electric guitars, but we need this mandolin because chords on the mandolin are much easier and this opens up performance opportunities for more students. Our youngest classes always enjoy hearing older kids play for them and it gets them excited about learning the instruments as they get older.
