This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
"We become an ensemble by doing the same thing, the same way, at the same time....ALL THE TIME!" This is the motto that we use in our choral performance group. Our goal is to become one of the premiere performance groups in the city of Atlanta and possibly travel the World.
Even a diamond comes from a rough place.
My students are a unique group of learners. They come from a high poverty urban area that does not offer many outlets for them. My students have found a kindred love of music and use this gift to express themselves to the world!
My Project
As budding musicians, we are looking to foster the interest of our young pianists by giving them learning opportunities that stretch beyond the conventional application of learning. While building our keyboard equipment inventory, we need keyboard stands to assist our piano students in not only learning to play while sitting, but also to perform like the professionals.
We become the best, when we practice like the best.
My students have a drive and ambition to give their absolute best when learning knew things, and I want to continue to foster their love for music as much as possible. These new keyboard stands will be sure to lift our program to new heights!
