STAMPING in a New Year!

Help me give my students a metal jewelry stamping kit for our ONE-word project. Each student has chosen a special word to help guide them through this year.

My Project

The One Word project has helped us set a positive, creative tone for our classroom in the New Year. It started out as an alternative to setting New Year's resolutions that often fail or are forgotten, but One Word is much easier to live by each day and helps set a purpose in all facets of our lives.

The One Word project is an amazing Social Emotional learning opportunity within the classroom too.

It has helped me as a teacher form stronger connections with my students as I learned more about their hopes and dreams. Additionally, it has built stronger bonds between peers. Students were excited to share their words with each other and supported each other by making posters.

The Metal Jewelry Stamping set, leather strands, and metal washers will be the perfect way to create something special for our students. My hope is each student will take their word and create a bracelet to wear each day. This will be a wonderful reminder of our One Word to help our minds focus on what we have looked into our hearts to find and want to live by each day!
