This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been a teacher at Harshman Middle School for 13 years and I love working with middle schoolers. It is an important age and time for young people to develop social and emotional skills, as well as form deep connections with their passions that could inspire them in their future endeavors.

Providing my students with diverse art supplies of high quality will help empower my students through significant learning experiences, that they will carry with them, and possibly change the trajectory of their educational paths for the better.

Words cannot describe the joy it brings me, as an educator, to be able to facilitate new experiences for my students in my classroom. The excitement and inspiration that these experiences bring to my students can truly be life-changing.

Through this project and with these supplies my students will be able to create advanced art projects that will showcase their growth and mastery of their skills.
