My Students

I teach at a wonderful school that focuses on the physical, social, and emotional needs of all students. My class is full of young minds that are very eager to learn and explore. My kindergarten students come to class every day excited about our adventures for that day. Our class is an inclusion room. This means that some of my students have special needs.

My students love to learn and do the best when we have hands-on learning activities.

My Project

I am requesting a set of math stackers for my classroom. We spend a lot of time in kindergarten developing number sense. Our goal is for student to leave kindergarten with a solid foundation of understanding numbers.

Math stackers are a really neat math tool that helps students with understanding number sense in a fun hands-on way!

I love a resource that incorporates play and learning. It is important for play to be integrated in early childhood learning.

Math stackers are blocks that are different sizes. Each block represents a number. Students can use the blocks to measure, count, and compare numbers. There are many different mathematical concepts that math stackers address!
