My students need stability rings to keep their exercise balls stable while they sit on them!

As a teacher in a high poverty school district, my students are often faced with several challenges in and out of the classroom. I am hoping to create an engaging learning environment within my classroom that gets my boys excited about the education they are receiving! Most of the young men I teach are coming from a high-poverty, inner-city neighborhood. In our school, 100% of our students receive free and reduced lunch.
My students constantly surprise me with the level of enthusiasm they have.
In our classroom, we focus on their potential for growth rather than the challenges that could hold them back. I aspire to create lifelong learners that are engaged in their learning. I work very hard to meet the needs of my students, both academically and socially. I know the young men I teach can achieve a great deal, and I appreciate you taking the time to read about them!
Many kids have a hard time completing work without getting antsy and needing to move around. Teaching in an all boys school, I see this very often within my classroom. Research shows that male students especially benefit from extra movement while they are learning. It indicates that this movement helps them not only get their work done, but also helps them to retain the information being learned.
I can tell you from my own experience in an all boys classroom, my boys are always on the move.
Having exercise balls available to my students is a great and easy way to help my students achieve success and stay active while doing so! However, we need stability rings to keep their exercise balls stable while they sit on them! I appreciate you reading my project. The young men I teach have incredible potential and your support can help them to reach their goals. Thank you!
