Help me give my students wobble chairs for stability while they continue their understanding for reading and math in small group settings, without the risk of injury from falling off their stool or causing disruption during precious one on one instruction!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school is quite diverse, where students come from a multitude of backgrounds. Our school is a Title I school where majority of our student population consist of children from low-income households. Despite their home life, my students come to school each and everyday prepared to rise to the highest expectations in order to be successful in all subject areas!
My Project
These stools will provide essential stability for my students during small group instruction as we dive deeper into reading and math content in order to master essential skills. I want to provide my students with the stability of stools so that they won't have the fear of falling off a stool or cause disruptions to our precious one on one instruction time.
Having small group instruction is a critical part of our reading and math instruction because it provides me the opportunity to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of each of my students.
These stools will allow me the opportunity to enrich or reteach reading and math skills in a smaller group setting!
