My Students

My class is a great group of students! I teach in a very small mountain community where each child comes from a different background and are unique in their own way. I am dedicated to teaching them everything I know. I am currently perusing a masters degree in curriculum and instruction. I want to learn the ins and outs of the instruction of curriculum.

I am excited for the school year with my class as they all have something unique to offer.

This is my second year at this school and I absolutely adore the small school of only three teachers. I am excited to see what the year brings!

My Project

Computers are used several times throughout the day in my classroom. We use a spelling program that each student has different words. The program used is interactive and each student is doing a different activity, the headphones would void out the noise of others. The microphones will allow the students to record their reading for review by me at a later date. The recordings are required before they can move along in the program. Having headphones with microphones is a must for the program.

By donating to my project, you will be allowing my students to improve their attention and focus while allowing them to improve on their reading skills.

Technology is important in our curriculum as it is the future of our world. By having the project funded, my students will be able to increase their reading ability to become proficient in their grade levels. It will also create a desire to learn and improve their interest in reading.
