I have the privilege of teaching, nurturing, and fostering a love of learning in 22 beautiful Pre-K students! Every day is an adventure!
My students are a wonderful and intelligent bunch, always curious, and eager to learn and explore.
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and inquirers. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers. They are our future, and I want to give them the greatest start to whatever lies ahead of them - in college, their career, and life!
My Project
Each day in PreK is packed full of learning and much of that comes through hands on exploration! There is so much in this big, wide world to learn and so much of their academic foundation begins right here in our classroom.
Our sensory table is a place where creativity soars, and learning happens each and every day!
Social skills like taking turns and cooperative play, self-control, learning how things move and change, textures, capacity, fine motor skills, and so much more are woven into our sensory space! You'd be amazed at what these children say and do each day as they explore and make connections to real world experiences while playing in sand, beans, and with trucks and tweezers!
We would love your help to spruce up our sensory table! Being able to integrate new learning materials each month re-engages children. Bringing in toys that are intentional and merge fun and learning are key with these kids. Providing them hands-on experiences and tools where they are acquiring new concepts as they work and play together is what PreK is all about!
