My Students

I teach Language Arts and Reading in a small, low income school, and I find the biggest challenge in my planning is finding and obtaining quality reading material at students' reading levels that is also interesting to them. I want them to be exposed to a rich variety of texts throughout the school year.

Most of my students have little or no access to texts at home.

Most only see books and printed text at school. Middle school students are preteens and teens, and it is essential for me to find texts that relate to their ages and cultures and are colorful and highly engaging.

My Project

My students will enjoy seeing their own published work in color with this printer and extra ink. Their center work will also be provided with lots of colorful displays to help keep them engaged with the text.

Our class would love to obtain an HP OfficeJet Pro printer because it doesn't take up a lot of space, and the InkJet technology offers clear images and text for plain paper copying and so much more.

With this printer, the students will not be limited in the amount of information they can include in their papers and in their newsletters.

Another great feature of this product is that they can scan in their own images if they need to include that type of information in their published work.
