“I want my children to understand the world, but not just because the world is fascinating and the human mind is curious. I want them to understand it so that they will be positioned to make it a better place” --Howard Gardner
I have the honor and privilege of teaching at an art-infused school, where children from all cultural and economic backgrounds can grow and flourish into creative, successful young adults.
These students excel in all arts backgrounds, and it is only fair that they be allowed to achieve their maximum potential in the classroom by the use of added technology and other useful materials and resources.
As we move on into the school year, it is time to focus on our writing skills. Writing is an important part of the standardized testing in Florida, so we must focus most of our attention on it this year. We will continue to practice spelling and correct grammar, all the while learning how to speak and write using our own words and our own voice.
The addition of dry erase supplies and other writing instruments will serve as a vital way for my students to write, rewrite, and edit.
Students can save on paper by implementing the reusable, erasable dry erase pockets and sleeves.
Students will also benefit from having extra art supplies to work on fun projects, as they demonstrate their mastery of the lesson through the illustration of each content area.
