Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students deserve all the best, and that includes developmentally appropriate sports equipment to play safely outside. We currently have some balls to play with when we are outside and no playground. As we work to raise funds for a playground, I want to provide them with a fun and safe space to play outside during recess.

In a school of just over 400 students, 100% of our students receive free lunch and many have faced significant trauma.

They deserve sports equipment to help them be physically healthy and fun tools to support unique needs. My goal of this project is to provide them outdoor chalk, bubbles, and other outdoor toys to supplement the playground balls they currently have. By funding this project, you will be helping me achieve that goal.
