This project will reach both second and fourth graders. We work together once a week. Many times the fourth graders are helping the second grade students with projects or completing science projects.
By showing your kindness, our students will also be able to spread kindness.
Many of our students come from a diverse socioeconomic background. By developing a sense of community and spreading kindness, it gives our students a sense of self worth. They know that they are an important part of our community.
Our students are looking to spread random acts of kindness. They are going to be painting rocks and putting inspirational and kind sayings on them. Then they will place the rocks throughout the community to spread kindness. These supplies will allow them to paint rocks all throughout the school year to spread kindness.
Spreading kindness rocks will give students an opportunity to make someone's day just a little better.
Some of our students have found kindness rocks in the past and said how it made them feel better. They now want to spread the kindness. Please help us spread kindness and teach our students just how important they are.
