My Students
My lively bunch are typical kindergarten students. They love running, hula-hooping, hopscotch, reading books, and brain breaks! They also enjoy being independent when it comes to various tasks in our classroom. They have really matured since our first day of school.
Their enthusiasm each day is electrifying and they are a force when they are really into something!
I admire how grateful they are for the simplest, most smallest things. I can give them a sticker or stamp, and in their sweet little minds, it's a Golden Ticket. They are just the cutest and deserve all the best.
My Project
The items requested will help us do our part in our small corner of the school world. Keeping my students safe is my very first priority everyday. If we are not well, we are not at school. If we are not at school, we are not learning, growing, and glowing! We do our best to keep our class and supplies and materials clean and sanitized so we are constantly spraying and wiping and learning healthy habits.
Flu season is upon us and the sniffle games have begun!
We have already gone through about 5 boxes of Kleenex since October. I am certain we will be needing plenty of those. The UV sanitizing light will be a perfect addition for our classroom library. This way students can take books more frequently without them having to go into quarantine for the rest of the week before someone else checks it out. (My kiddos love Pete the Cat-he does not stay on the shelf at all!)
Healthy snacks are needed for those days where my students are hungry in the afternoon, due to an early lunch and also as rewards for fun Fridays. We could also use some AAA batteries to power our new coding robot, Botley!!
