Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is the ONLY high school in the state of Oklahoma where students can obtain an associate's degree before they can even get their high school diploma.
We have many ESL (English as a Second Language) and ELL (English Language Learners) students, and 93% of our student population is on Free and Reduced Breakfast and Lunch Plans.
We would really appreciate any help you can provide to give our students an equitable chance to be successful in their academic careers!
Our students are focused and works extra hard for their brighter future. In order to help them and teach them, we need resources such as calculators. With this calculator, I can teach them more in depth and with understanding on math.
My Project
Our school is very small. We only have 200 students and we are located inside college. Our school heavily focuses on education. However, I want to give more attention to health this year. In order to do so, we need supplies...
I have talked with my students and they really want to do more sports, however we do not have materials to do so.
Can you help us?
We have few cheerleaders and they want mats. They need to practice tumbling but we do not own any mats for their safety. Many kids are wanting to play football, but we don't have football either. Our college have large open field and they want to play football, tennis, and many more sports to keep their focus towards education and de-stress!
