My students need various types of playground balls for our sports units and cones to line our fields. We also need a trash can to carry and store our equipment.

A typical day in our pe classroom consists of stretching our muscles, performing a cardiovascular endurance activity, learning new skills, and participating in games. By the end of the year, it is my hope that all of our students gain a love and appreciation for physical fitness.
Our students are very eager to try and learn new skills and games.
We constantly strive to teach them various games that they may not be exposed to at our local recreation department. Our students participate in many physical education activities at our school that include cardie club and intramural. These activities are in addition to their regular physical education class. Our school faculty values physical fitness and sports. Our community members also encourage our students to get involved in physical activities and develop life-long fitness habits. President John F. Kennedy once said, " Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity." Our physical education teachers, faculty, and community members all strive to help all of our students understand that importance of life-long physical activity for their minds and bodies.
Our students will use these resources to participate in new fitness units. The trash can will be used to haul our equipment to the field. The cones will be used to mark the boundaries on our field. Lastly, the playground balls will be used to teach a variety of skills such as kicking and throwing.
John Wooden once said, "Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do." Our physical education class is designed to develop each student's physical, social and emotional learning through a series of carefully planned and conducted activities.
Children are at different developmental levels, with different needs and interests, for this reason, activities are geared towards a wide range of skill and fitness levels. All students are encouraged to work towards their personal best!
