Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students at CSS are a fun, energetic group of students who have a desire to grow and learn. The students at CSS enjoy the benefits of the various programs offered at CSS and use them as an opportunity to have a growth mindset and develop their skills and character. Students are taught how to create a balance between athletics and academics, which benefits improvements in both areas. Our students come from low income housing and need to demonstrate a stronger sense of commitment to be an active participate meeting practice and competition schedules.

My Project

The equipment being asked for will benefit our student-athletes by giving them improved training equipment and thus aim to enhance their skill development. As our students develop their skills we hope it will grow confident and develop character than can be carried over to their academics and all around positive mindset.

Our students have strong coaches and just need the tools to implement their knowledge and training.

Given these equipment items we can train to a higher level. These students come from home environment where they do not have equipment or space to practice at home and so at school practices is their only time to work on their sport specific skills.
