My Students

We are an urban public school. Physical fitness is a challenge for many of our students. Staying healthy and fit doesn't have to feel like extra work. Fitness can be fun.

Our students are typical young people living in a modern city.

They work hard at school, eat a lot, and only have limited time for exercise and having fun with sport activities. Their school day is enhanced if they have an opportunity to play hard and incorporate physical training, balance, and directional team activities.

My Project

We are requesting simple recreational equipment; balls, hoops, and ropes. These basic items in the hands of motivated young people can become much more. It does not take complicated equipment to become physically fit. Becoming physically fit requires a will to better oneself. These basic recreation equipment are the tools that our children need.

The requested equipment is needed to support our physical education program.

There isn't any other source to fund physical education within public education. A healthy child learns better than an unhealthy child. Let's give our children a chance.
