My Students

Each child in the school comes to my media center each week excited about the new possibilities and challenges that I present to them. I incorporate a variety of learning styles, collaborative work, and different learning strategies to best fit the needs of all students. My students are an incredible group of learners who stay curious and ready to learn each week!

The students at my school, nestled in Southeastern CT, are from various backgrounds and socioeconomic levels.

We have a growing population of ELL students and students of all need levels. These young kids thrive when working together to explore and learn new concepts.

My Project

Post Distance Learning, students will need every opportunity available to get back to collaboration and hands-on learning with their peers. Students will need an entirely new approach to learning. Students in my Media Center will be able to bring their digital creations to life with a new 3D printer in our classroom!

Students at our school will thrive on creating designs that they will be able to bring to life!

Starting with creation of a concept, then designing it in Tinkercad, students will now be able to print their creation into a tangible object. Students are ALL IN when it comes to 3D design and printing. The Flashforge Adventurer 3D Printer would allow us as a school community to grow together by following the Engineering Design Process to solve a problem.
