My school has funded my class for a bird watch education program offered by San Francisco nature education. The facilitators have already came to the classroom to do a lesson. Students learned about birds being found in the city and learned about the herons using Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park as their habitat. They have shown great interest in the subject. We have been scheduled a field trip to see the birds. As I tried to apply for the district free bus, I found that we can't have any free bus. Since my school has a high percentage of free lunch students, I need to have sponsor for the free bus in order to take my class to the field trip easily.
