Help me give my students the opportunity to be able to work on balance and coordination. This is very important for young student to build a strong foundation that will transfer too many different activities.
As a new teacher in a new school, I want to make an immediate impact on my students with new equipment for their PE class. Half of my students come from low income homes and it would be amazing for them to have new equipment. They love to move and express themselves in an environment that is very enticing and enriching. I am looking to keep things intriguing and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. Physical Educations plays a vital role in students' development and growth.
My students need to experience the full journey that Physical Education can bring to them.
They need to learn about all 3 domains, psychomotor, cognitive and affective. My schools slogan is our school lights up your mind and this equipment will light up my students hearts!
My Project
Spooners are becoming very popular in the Physical Education world today. Spooners help students develop important skills that relate too many other activities in our daily lies. Kids love to move, twirl, roll, and spin and with spooners they can spin on for days!
My students love to spin on scooter boards and spinners are the next level.
Spooner will bring out the "inner skaters" in my students as they work on balancing and increasing their coordination. Young students have need to focus on balancing as they gain control of their motor skills. Spooners are always a great activity to get the students heart rate up! Let's SPOONER!
