Many students need extrinsic rewards to stay motivation and help them feel proud of their classroom accomplishments. My students earn tickets for classroom participation, demonstrating great character, and going above and beyond on class work. The tickets are collected throughout the week for a small reward.
In addition, at the end of the month, the students name goes into the Wheel of Names rewarding students with a small incentive.
. The students will receive a small gift card, vinyl stickers, Jolly Ranchers and Airheads, being able to work outside in the courtyard, free time on a Friday, etc. These rewards help encourage the students to stay motivated throughout the year!
