Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the greatest group of five and six-year-olds. With high energy levels and enthusiasm, my class always comes to school so eager to learn. My class is very diverse with some families being more fortunate than others.
The twenty-five students in my class from varying walks of life, but together, we have created one community.
Kindergarten is often my students' first year of school. It is so crucial to build their excitement toward learning and encourage them to achieve great things in the classroom.
My Project
Germs and messes are a part of any classroom. Having the necessary supplies to combat the germs and messes are essential! Having a stock of cleaning supplies to combat colds and germs help to keep the students safe and healthy. When students are healthy, they are able to come to school and maximize learning time day after day. The hand sanitizer, daily cleaner, disinfectant wipes, and dry erase spray will help to ensure that all surfaces and areas of the classroom are as clean as they can be. These resources will allow us to spend more time focusing on learning and less time on how we can keep our area clean with extremely limited supplies.
