Spices Need Storage

Help me give my students storage containers for our spices and food staples in culinary class.

My Students

I teach at an inner-city school where I have a very diverse group of students. My classes have special education as well as English as a second language. They are not only educationally diverse but economically and socially diverse as well.

Each week, my students get to perform a cooking lab.

They love this activity and are excited to learn and hone their culinary skills. For many students, this is the highlight of their day.

My Project

Have you ever had to fed 150 hungry people? Did I mention these people are teenagers? I do this on a weekly basis as a culinary teacher. This takes a lot of organization. This is one skill I take VERY seriously.

Help me provide containers to store our spices and food staples we use in our culinary class to feed 150 hungry teenagers.

This will help provide a neat and organized food pantry. It will also prevent me from buying food that is not necessary because I will be able to see exactly how much of each item I already have.
