My students need organizers so we can keep a clean and efficient classroom.

Our classroom is the perfect definition of organized chaos. 11 differentiated curriculums are going on at once, along with a mix of picture cues, four adults, and behavior problems. At the end of the day, you might believe we were hit by a tornado! Our classroom needs HELP getting organized.
My 1st through 4th grade students are all challenged with varying degrees of autism spectrum disorders.
This means that they lack proper social skills, language and speech skills, fine and gross motor skills, as well as many more skills that we often take for granted. Though they face many road blocks, they are loving, incredibly unique, intelligent, and curious children. My students also live in an urban community where over 80% of the students live at or below the poverty line. My students need specially designed curriculum materials, sensory tools, and adaptive equipment to access school the way that their typically developing peers do.
As I stated above, our classroom is a hectic, crazy, wonderful place full of materials that need to be organized. My students are learning to be responsible, but need very strict boundaries of where materials are and should go. Children with autism are motivated by structure and routine, and the set up of the classroom is crucial. I am seeing that my students need more structure than we have in order to move into them becoming more responsible with the organization of their learning materials - like scissors, markers, and homework packets. I am requesting organizational materials like boxes and cubbies so that we can get started on getting our classroom in order. The more responsible my students become in their primary years means that they will have more opportunities to grow in their independence as they get older.
These organizational materials will not only help our classroom run smoother, but will allow my students to gain more independence.
They will know where the materials belong and will be able to gather and put away materials independently. Please help my students grow!
