My students need a way to manage the materials in our classroom. As an AVID Elementary school, we value teaching students life skills in the areas of organization. WE need storage bins.

My Students

At our school we strive to create, make, and innovate! This group is social, eager to learn, and fun to be around.

This 5th grade group is; active, loves to work hands on, and is willing to take chances in and outside of the classroom!

These students have a passion for learning and love to spend time interacting with each other in the classroom. We are working to prepare these students for middle school and life beyond the classroom.

My Project

Organization is a key in developing well rounded life skills. At MESI one of our goals is to implement this into our teaching, so that students can learn positive routines for adult life. These materials will allow us to organize our new reading curriculum including leveled readers and student workbooks. The lamps/bookshelf will help to create an atmosphere of comfort and still provide shelving to organize our classroom library.

As an AVID Elementary school that focuses on organization and teaching life skills, it is crucial to have the tools and resources to support this in the classroom.

The book bins will allow students to keep their materials in one location, and we will focus on storing belongings in an appropriate manner.
