My Students

My class of six and seven-year-olds come to school to have a safe and inviting environment where they know they will be loved. Because of the students' socioeconomic status, they don't always have the opportunity to use engaging tools that increase their motivation to learn. We are a Title I school. I want to bring technology with driven and engaging ways to learn in the classroom to make learning fun and exciting each and every day.

I want my students to learn in an environment that they feel most comfortable.

My goal of teaching is to find tools and ways to increase that love of learning and for my students to become lifelong learners.

My Project

My students will be able to experience coding and robotics in an easy to use way as they develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills.

We will use the Sphero Minis as a station during our STEM time.

Students will rotate in small groups to practice using the Spheros. Students will be able to work independently or with their small group team members. As my students ability increases, they will be learning and become engaged in a whole new way.

Sphero has many skills that are beneficial to a student’s future and I want to start encouraging their goals now for the future.
