My students need a cash register that will help them learn to count money and give change. This will give each student an opportunity to have hands-on experience.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a first year teacher it's hard to provide for a classroom all at once. It's takes special people like you , to help provide what our students need.
My students are rewarded for behavior , hard work , act of kindness and other things by received play money.
They are able to spend their money through out the week by using clipboards , sitting in fun chairs , buying popcorn and drink on Friday. Students are given many other opportunities to use their money in different ways.
My Project
My students need a real-working cash register, paper money, plastic coins, and counting money puzzles. My students receive play money for my classroom management system and behavior reward. Having my students learn the value of each bill and coin will help in school, as well as everyday life .
Being able to add a cash register into my room will give my students a great opportunity to collect money, and count change.
I feel these items will be a great hands-on experience for my students.
They will greatly appreciate this opportunity of receiving such great things we can use everyday in our classroom.
These items will be used daily and will give an exciting way for each student to learn how to count money.
