My students need to have all the music materials on an iPad with protective case. This will expedite the learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Each day I am at a different elementary school, teaching general vocal/choral music to different grade level students, in the auditorium.
My students are mainly from south and west Los Angeles, mainly from low income families; 70% Hispanic, 15% African American, 5% Filipino ethnic backgrounds.
Some live at foster homes and some with their grandparents.
They are all excited for music class. The 2nd graders come for general music class. The 3rd graders play recorders. The 4th and 5th graders come for Chorus.
My Project
My students will benefit from organized musical materials; grade level songs, related musical video clips, accompaniments, learning different parts for chorus... all in there, ready to be used with a touch of a finger! This will be attached to a Bose speaker for them to hear the music. This iPad will be a resource to upgrade and modernize which, in turn will better the student learning.
This iPad will bring students' excitement to a higher level.
My students will benefit from this needed resource. Use of this iPad will help to bring more song material to my students. Learning and creating music helps students to develop discipline and 21st century skills.
