My Students

I am a speech pathologist in a small rural school in Northeast Nebraska. Despite our size, we take great pride in the accomplishments of our Pender Pendragons! Our students excel academically and are involved in extracurricular activities. The community supports the children in school and out of school. We all grieved when schools closed last Spring, and hope never to see that again. The school has a warm, accepting environment that the students and the staff missed.

However, how I do my therapy has changed.

Mask wearing, social distancing and material cleansing leaves me without my standard tools of the trade.

My Project

My students of all ages and all ability levels engage more readily when they use a digital platform for therapy materials. With the TPT gift cards, I would like to purchase BOOM cards so that I can present more materials digitally and/or remotely as needed.

Individualized speech therapy sessions meet the unique needs of every child I see.

Having a broad range of materials is essential regardless of the setting. Having a variety of materials in each area keeps the lessons fresh and the students engaged; at school or at home.
