Speech Is Fun!

Help me give my students new materials to learn from and activities to play in the speech room. Also, some great new prizes for them to earn!

My Students

I am a speech teacher and my students really struggled doing speech therapy online during the pandemic. It was hard to get students online for individual therapy and oftentimes technology was not able to keep up with the demands for articulation and language therapy.

When we went back to in-person in school year 2021-2022 with masks on, speech therapy became easier, but we still needed to figure out how to work with students safely even with a barrier between us.

My students persevered and we were able to have a successful year of therapy. We learned a lot and my students rolled with whatever the pandemic threw their way. I'm so proud of them!

My Project

My speech students really had a hard time meeting over zoom and not seeing people's faces with the masks on. These new materials will help them continue to grow and face new challenges.

I am excited to see their faces when they play with the new cards, learn new skills, and see the new classroom prizes!

I will continue to be a consistent, kind, and caring presence in their lives. I look forward to using these materials for their benefit and allow them to gain more skills and confidence even outside of the speech room!
