Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a Special Education Teacher( Resource/Inclusion Teacher)for First and Second Grade. I have 8 students in First Grade and 11 students in Second Grade. I think what I love the most about my students are that they are resilient and they are passionate and eager to learn. We really need this technology to be successful in life. I believe technology can give them so many opportunities to research and work on numerous activities we have planned!

My Project

I currently teach students and I have small groups, but I need the technology to help my students use Iready, ST Math, Lexia, and other educational activities. I would really love if someone was able to able to donate an iPad, even it was one. It would mean so much to my students and would be so beneficial to the Special Education classroom. I push in to classrooms and I pull out as well, so it will be extremely convenient to have iPads. iPads are also easier because students can use them on the rugs, in their chairs, or any other location.
