My Students

My students belong to an NYC District 75 school that is highly specialized in autism. Most of my students began their educational journey with 1 on 1 early intervention services in the home to help them develop communication, motor, and cognitive skills.

Today they work to meet grade-level standards in a classroom of 8 students.

My students are part of a Title I school. This means that the majority of them are entitled to free lunch due to their lower income. They all have IEPs and are working towards being mainstreamed into the general education setting.

My Project

With the binding machine, I can create or print books to laminate and bind for use over the years. I plan to laminate and bind books to use during reading groups. I also plan to bind many other classroom supports. Binding is much safer than traditional staples and lasts significantly longer: Saving paper!

These books will be used for years to come!

Please donate to our project to help us make a strong, individualized reading program for my students. It will make sure a difference in social learning as well. I can make social stories for my students and bind them into sturdy books to take home with them.
