My Students

We just moved into a brand new school in East Helena. It is specifically grades 1-2. I have an amazing and energetic group of first graders who love to move! My students come from diverse backgrounds and have different learning styles. Having these unique personalities is wonderful but also requires having different options to best suit each child!

I want to provide each of my students with the best classroom experience, so each day I have happy and excited students who are eager to learn!

My Project

Having different seating options like the wobble seats and portable lap desks will give my students the choice on what helps them learn the best! Six year olds need to move, and giving them a seat that moves will allow them to focus more on their work rather than their bodies. Some students like to sit at their tables while others do not, so providing lap desks can give another option for those students.

Providing all of these extra options will lead to a more engaged and comfortable classroom.

I want my students to love and enjoy learning, and adding these into my room would be a great start!
