Special Pens for Special Students

My students need 3Doodler pens, lamination pouches, and dry erase makers. The simple task of writing is extremely difficult for my students, and these materials will make the writing process a less painful experience for them.

My Students

I see many different types of students in my 3rd through 5th grade Special Education classroom at my school. Each student is very unique and has his or her own learning style. Each child brings different creative traits to the classroom. My kids are currently in an intensive resource program and require specialized instruction to meet their learning needs. These children learn best from hands-on, real life teaching moments. These students come to school eager to learn, and want to be successful in and outside of the school environment!

My Project

Writing is the most difficult subject for my students to master. Being able to physically write a sentence is often a struggle. This project would bring excitement and a newfound motivation to help these struggling writers convey their thoughts and ideas.

Writing is a functional skill that everyone needs to be successful in the "real" world.

I am working on engaging students in their writing, so that they can become active members of the community and work towards independence. We need 3Doodler pens, lamination pouches, and dry erase makers. Having these products would be a fun, new, and exciting way to teach writing and facilitate engagement.
