Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is unique in that we not only empower our students to reach their fullest potential not only in one language but two! Our dual language program serves a variety of diverse students who are primarily from low income urban areas. My students are what motivate me to get up every morning and create lessons that I know will positively impact their day and future. Many of my students have a variety of learning needs and styles often benefit from special classroom accommodations such as differentiated seating and sensory breaks.
My Project
These unique desks will allow my special needs students a beautiful reading area. They will be able to provide a comfortable area for learning. The white board tables will also allow my students an engaging way to write about reading. Providing these beautiful differentiated areas will help create a positive atmosphere and environment for learning and reading. I want to be able to make reading area fun for my students to feel empowered when reading. When my special needs students are regulated and focused these table will assit in providing an opportunity for them to reach their fullest potential. We thank you in advance for your support!
